Where you'll be working

North Shore Ryde Mental Health Services - Ryde Community Mental Health Team

What you'll be doing

The Administration Officer will manage a variety of clerical/administrative processes for the community services of NSRMHS including the management of both electronic and paper medical records, compiling medico legal reports, coordination of Tribunal hearings, co ordination of RiskIT and SEEIT as well as fulfilling general office duties such as participation in the reception roster as required and contributing to the smooth operation of the Ryde and LNS community health centres. People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background are encouraged to apply.

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria
  1. Experience in medical records management including proven ability in coordinating the provision of accurate legal documentation and providing appropriate documentation to external agencies.
  2. Highly developed time management skills, with particular emphasis on prioritising workloads effectively to meet deadlines.
  3. Demonstrated ability to write reports, briefs, documents and correspondence, including drafting complex correspondence for senior staff, accurately and clearly, minute taking for various meetings.
