Activities Coordinator

Location: Pittsburgh, PA (15221)

Schedule: Monday Friday, 7:30 AM 4:00 PM (flexibility required based on participant needs)

About the Role Community LIFE is seeking a compassionate and engaging Activities Coordinator to lead and manage therapeutic programming for older adults in our Day Center. This role involves planning and executing a wide range of engaging activities that support the physical, emotional, and social well-being of our participants. Youll also supervise the Activities team and collaborate closely with the Day Center Supervisor and interdisciplinary staff to ensure a vibrant and supportive environment. Occasional in-home visits may be required for assessments and ongoing case management.

Required Education:

• Bachelors degree in a relevant field, or
• High School diploma plus 4 years of experience coordinating and leading activities for older adults.

Required Experience:

• Minimum 1 year of experience leading recreational activities for frail or elderly individuals, preferably in a multidisciplinary setting.
• Supervisory experience is strongly preferred.

Required Licensure & Certifications:

• Valid Pennsylvania Drivers License required.
• CTRS (Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist) or MT (Music Therapist) highly preferred.
