GCG Structuring is a UAE based corporate services provider, specializing in company formation, accounting, VAT/Corporate Tax compliance, and IFRS reporting for clients and group companies.
The RoleWe are looking for an ACCA qualified Accountant with strong IFRS knowledge and client facing skills. This is a hands on role: you will manage client cases end to end - from daily accounting to monthly/annual financial statements and regulatory filings.
Key Responsibilities- Manage full accounting cycle for assigned clients (from bookkeeping to final financial statements).
- Prepare and review monthly management reports and annual IFRS compliant financial statements.
- File quarterly VAT returns and annual Corporate Tax returns; handle related FTA correspondence.
- Advise clients on accounting treatments under IFRS (revenue recognition, leases, provisions, impairments, etc.).
- Maintain audit ready records and liaise directly with external auditors.
- Act as the primary contact for client queries; explain accounting, VAT, and CT treatment in clear terms.
- Handle multiple entities across different sectors, ensuring deadlines are met.
- Support internal reporting for GCG's group entities (monthly packs, consolidation input, intercompany reconciliations).
- ACCA (qualified or finalist), CPA, or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS standards and their practical application.
- 3-6 years of accounting experience, with exposure to UAE VAT and Corporate Tax.
- Proven ability to manage client cases independently from A to Z.
- Excellent communication skills - able to explain technical matters to non finance clients.
- High attention to detail, disciplined with deadlines, and comfortable managing multiple portfolios.
- Exposure to multi sector clients
- Career progression toward Senior Accountant / Finance Controller.
- Professional growth in UAE tax and cross border structuring.
