ACCOUNT MANAGER
The Opportunity
We are a contract cleaning and soft services provider to the FM arena in London, and widely regarded as the employer of choice. We manage and support both end user clients and managing agents with several Iconic buildings and developments you will recognise.
The Account Manager will be responsible for the strategic management of a key contract that is one of the premier contracts in London. The management team that reports to the Account Manager includes the Contract Manager and Contract Support Administrator
The Package
- £56k basic
- 35 days holiday per year (including bank holidays)
- Flexible hours
Duties and Responsibilities:
- The candidate must be able to demonstrate strong relationship building with clients and stakeholders.
- It is expected that you will work closely with the local community to prioritise local employment and other local CSR/ESG opportunities.
- The operation of the contract is 24 hours, seven days a week. Any applicant will need to be familiar with all elements of the portfolio and manage their time accordingly. Service will include horizontal cleaning, pest control and elements of waste services.
- Strategic management of prestigious City of London tall building
- Strategic overview of all facets of contract.
- Full control of P+L and contract costs.
- Comply with and ensure all Company & Client policies and statutory regulations relating to Health & Safety and safe working practices are fully compliant.
- Manage monthly KPI and service reports to key clients and stakeholders on a monthly and quarterly occurrence.
- Daily leadership of contract management team.
- Prioritise local employment.
- Deliver innovation in all aspects of the contract.
- Actively engage and promote local CSR opportunities.
- Carry out other reasonable tasks as directed by management.
- Cleaning and service of all areas is to be the highest standards possible.
Skills & Attributes:
- Proven leadership skills, able to strategically manage a diverse team of managers and sub-contractors.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Understand policy, resource planning and strategy and how to ensure all aspects are effective.
- Ability to develop policy, planning and strategy and how to identify change where necessary.
- Experience in managing ISO and other Health and Safety policies and procedures.
- Proven background of innovation and delivering change.
- Ability to forge strong relationships with Clients and third-party suppliers.
- Ability to deliver exceptional standards in soft services.
- Adaptability, able to function effectively in a fast paced, demanding environment.
