Position Description:

Behavior (90%)

  • Respond directly to student behavior incidents and follow the AXIS behavior flow chart and protocol. Manage behavior on call schedule.
  • Lead the implementation of behavior support plans and interventions as directed by the Behavior Coordinator/BCBA or other supervising staff.
  • Document incidents and interventions consistently in the behavior tracking system.
  • Assist with maintaining Grade Level Behavior-MTSS tracking data sheets by entering information and updating records.
  • Participate in grade level meetings ( every 3 weeks) to share updates and contribute to collaborative problem solving around behavior patterns and needs.
  • Serve as a supportive point of contact for staff regarding daily behavior responses and interventions (with overall process managed by the Behavior Coordinator/BCBA)
  • Provide direct intervention services such as Check-In/Check-Out (CICO), small group or individual skill-building, coaching in the use of RULER tools, and other evidence-based practices.
  • Conduct observations and gather data to inform Tier 1 and Tier 2 interventions, and share with supervising staff to guide next steps.
  • Collaborate closely with the School Psychologist, Special Education Specialists, and Health/Integrated Services teams to ensure comprehensive support for student needs related to behavior, regulation, attendance, and wellness.

Teamwork, Leadership, and Other Duties as assigned ( 10%)

  • Check in regularly with a designated Leadership Team member and help lead weekly S in AXIS / MTSS-S meetings.
  • Participate as an active member of the student support and MTSS teams.
  • Assist in the training and development of staff in behavior strategies and AXIS protocols.
  • Support other school needs as directed by the Leadership Team.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.




Required Experience

  • At least 2 years of experience in behavior response or intervention with measurable results;
  • A Bachelor's degree;
  • Eligible to work in the US without visa sponsorship;

Preferred Experience

  • Experience leading a team and other leadership duties;
  • Experience at a high-performing school, charter, or private school, is preferred.
  • Bilingual or interest in bilingual education;
